About This Spot
Wah’s Garden feels like that comforting neighborhood spot where familiar scents of garlic, ginger, and soy simmer in the air, inviting you in with a quiet warmth. Nestled on Mountain Avenue in Bloomfield, its unassuming facade gives way to a modest dining space where the pace slows down just enough to savor a moment of everyday comfort.
Inside, the mood is relaxed and easygoing. Whether you’re waiting to pick up an order or settling in for a lunch, the atmosphere encourages a simple pleasure — good food that tastes like it’s made with care, without the rush or the fuss. The hum of conversations blends with the occasional clatter from the kitchen, creating an unpretentious backdrop where local patrons gather over hearty, familiar dishes.
Meals here feel like a personal invitation to explore a range of flavors, from tender boneless spare ribs glazed in a homey sauce to the crispy, well-seasoned wings that hint at a bit of indulgence. Each plate seems designed to balance generous portions with straightforward, satisfying flavors that linger pleasantly, encouraging you to come back.

I did a phone order and the food was ready on time. I had an extra item that I didn't order so I was wondering why it was so high. I didn't complain about it. The egg rolls were perfect, the the roast pork egg food yung sauce was sweet. The chicken nugget things I didn't order was way to salty and the general tao was hard and average. The house lo mein was pretty good. I might try them again and try something different. This was my first visit. Total came to $37. Update. Thanks for the Free Chicken Nuggets. I'm not sure if you supply plastic utensils and napkins, but I was going back home luckily. I should have ask for soy sauce and spicy sauce too.

The place is clean I don't mind waiting for my food or eating in. The food is great I do not know why I haven't tried them before when it only down the street. The wings crunchy and tasty. I always ask for my wings to be fried hard.

The food was delicious, the portions were generous, but the tasting space was very limited. We loved the burrito-like appetizer that accompanied certain dishes.
